Angus Peacock, Senior Consultant
Angus brings rich, experience-based knowledge to the world of performance management consulting. He is passionate about developing people and strives to improve management and leadership behaviors by challenging inherited thinking. This passion has prompted Angus to continuously explore different cultures and countries. His professional journey includes Sportsman, Royal Navy Officer, and General Manager.
Since arriving in China in 2002, performance management, change management, team building and cultural awareness training all feature strongly in the roles Angus has played. Angus has presented, facilitated and interacted, in Chinese and English, with executives, managers, staff, government officials, university principals and graduates as well as famous Olympiads.
Angus has an established client base from a variety of industry sectors including: logistics, engineering, HR, education, Security, IT and Manufacturing. With a keen sense of social responsibility, he also provides pro bono services as Chairman of Lifeline Shanghai, and as Director of Rugby at Shanghai RFC. A native English speaker, Angus is trilingual and holds a dual honors Chinese and French graduate degree from the University of Westminster in London.
Angus has lived in Canada, crossed Russia and Siberia by train, walked through the Alps from France to Italy and sailed the Atlantic Ocean, the Baltic and the Mediterranean seas. Angus regularly participates in endurance events and recently completed the Gobi March, a six-day adventure marathon in the Gobi Desert and Turpan basin.
