Mary Rezek, Founder & Principal Consultant
Mary Rezek has over two decades expertise in designing and delivering leadership development and corporate learning experiences that are a powerful combination of being creative and strategically grounded. The result is the ability to build inspiring leaders and teams who can be effective in the world’s largest and fastest growing economies: China, USA, India, and throughout the Asia Pacific Region.
Based in China for the past 15 years, Mary has unrivalled knowledge and understanding of local market trends and the changing business landscape. She offers unique perspectives and deep corporate experience gained at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Microsoft where she was the Asia Pacific Regional Organizational Development Consultant, and combines this with a consultant’s objectivity.
Mary Rezek founded Saatori Ltd. in 2006 and established its headquarters in Shanghai. She acts as an independent consultant across a diverse portfolio of industries including aviation, IT, financial services, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, chemicals, and hospitality. Her clients include Microsoft, adidas, Swire Group, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Gap Inc. Yahoo!, and Dow Chemical, where she advises and works with their C-suite and seasoned leaders.
At Saatori, Mary focuses on assisting international organizations, entrepreneurial businesses, and individuals. Leveraging her transcultural agility and the insights she acquired from working in and for multinational organizations, she has developed a number of highly specialized and relevant service offerings.
A pioneer in her field, Mary was one of the earliest learning and development experts to arrive in China in the late 1990’s.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a focus on training and development. She is a member of the American Society of Training & Development and a YPO-WPO Certified Forum Facilitator. Mary is the former Chairperson for the Education and Training Committee and a member of the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
